Spiriti di Pietra, un andare oltre la forma è uno studio orientato a indagare la relazione tra l’essere umano e l’ambiente naturale attraverso la vista quale organo di senso. Se la meraviglia è alla nostra portata, quale possibilità abbiamo noi di coglierla? Se la funzione dell’occhio da sola non basta, quali circuiti interni possiamo attivare per metterci in una condizione di ascolto? Il tempo contemporaneo che viviamo, spesso frammentato tra tecnologia digitale e livelli di attenzione sempre più brevi, non predispone all’incontro. Serve quindi un momento per sintonizzarsi col ritmo offerto dai luoghi o forse un impulso/informazione per riconnettere il nostro sentire al mondo naturale attraverso lo sguardo in cui la palpebra è ponte tra natura interiore ed esteriore. Le fotografie post prodotte in una dimensione grafica consentono, variando il punto di osservazione, di accedere alla visione che mette in relazione micro e macrocosmo. L’immagine così sganciata da forme conosciute si offre al sentire e diviene specchio di chi osserva, rivelando nuove impressioni.

‘Stone Spirits, beyond shape’ is a study aiming to investigate the relationship between human beings and the natural environment through sight meant as a sense organ. Even though the marvellous is within our reach, what is our chance to grasp it? If the function of sight isn’t enough, what kind of internal circuits can we activate to reach a condition of listening? The contemporary time we live in, often fragmented between digital technology and increasingly shorter levels of attention, doesn’t prepare us for encountering. Therefore we need a moment to get in tune with the rythm offered by the places or maybe an impulse/information to reconnect our feelings to the natural world through sight, where the eyelid a is a bridge between interior and exterior nature. By changing the point of view, photos that are post produced in a graphical dimension allow us to access a vision that links micro and macrocosm. The image, unhooked from the known shapes, offers itself to the act of feeling and becomes a mirror of who’s watching, revealing new impressions.
